Grant-Making

The Foundation awards grants to support education and preventative health programs and has a particular interest in those that focus on increasing local philanthropy and volunteerism. The Foundation has also historically supported rural libraries. Libraries applying for grants of less than $2,500, may use our online micro-grant application.

The first step in applying for a grant is the submission of a letter of inquiry. Click here for more information on submitting a letter of inquiry. Letters of inquiry for Central Illinois grants are accepted on an annual basis and must be received by August 31. Click here for to see our application timetable.
